It was fine with abundant sunshine over Tsing Yi (North) during sunset on Saturday.

Early this week, affected by a northeast monsoon, it was mainly cloudy and relatively fresh as daytime air temperature was not over 25 degrees. The northeast monsoon gradually moderated later this week. Wednesday, it was cloudy at first. Clouds got thinner in the afternoon and there were sunny intervals. Thursday, it became fine. A ridge of high pressure brought generally fine weather to the district on Friday and Saturday. Because of abundant sunshine, air temperature of the district rose to around 31 degrees in the afternoon. On the other hand, Kai-Tak further intensified into a typhoon on Sunday morning and moved west-northwestwards or north-westwards slowly. It landed over northern Vietnam on Wednesday afternoon, moved inland over Vietnam and gradually dissipated.

本星期初，受東北季候風影響，本區大致多雲，天氣較涼快，日間氣溫亦不
超過25度。東北季候風於本週後期逐漸緩和；星期三，初時多雲，下午雲層
轉薄，短暫時間有陽光；星期四轉晴。一道高壓脊於星期五及六為本區帶來
普遍晴朗的天氣；由於有充沛陽光，本區下午氣溫上升至31度左右。另一方
面，啟德於星期日早上進一步增強為一颱風，向西北偏西或西北緩慢移動，
於星期三下午在越南北部登陸，移入越南內陸及逐漸消散。
