In Tsing Yi (North), it was fine at first, but became cloudy later in the afternoon on Saturday.
於青衣（北），星期六初時天晴，下午較後時間則漸轉多雲。

This week there was no northeast monsoon, therefore average air temperature of this district was relatively higher than that of last week by several degrees. Relative humidity was also higher. For most of the time this week, a ridge of high pressure affected southeastern China. Over the district, apart from some cloudy periods in the morning, it was fine or there were sunny periods during the day. Also, it was hot with air temperature rising to 32 degrees in the afternoon. Saturday afternoon onwards, a moist easterly airstream started to affect the district, hence cloud amount increased and there were haze. On the other hand, an area of low pressure over western Pacific intensified into a tropical depression on Monday night. It further intensified into a tropical storm during daytime on Thursday, named Tembin. Tembin moved westwards or west-northwestwards. After crossing Luzon, it rapidly weakened and was downgraded to a low pressure over the sea to the west of Luzon on Friday afternoon. It still lingered over the northern part of South China Sea during the weekend, bringing unsettled weather to that region.

由於本星期沒有東北季候風影響，本區的平均氣溫較上星期高幾度，濕度亦
較高。本星期大部分時間，一道高壓脊影響中國東南部；本區方面，除早上
部分時間多雲外，日間天晴或部分時間有陽光，下午天氣炎熱，氣溫高達32
度。週末下午起，一股潮濕的偏東氣流開始影響本區，雲量增多及有煙霞。
另一方面，位於西太平洋的低壓區於星期一晚增強為一熱帶低氣壓，並於星
期四日間進一步增強為熱帶風暴，命名為天秤。天秤向西或西北偏西移動，
橫過呂宋後迅速減弱，於星期五下午在呂宋以西海域減弱為一個低壓區；它
於星期六仍然徘徊在南海北部，為該區帶來不穩定的天氣。
