A cold front crossed the coastal areas of southeastern China early in the morning
on Sunday. Air temperature of this district gradually dropped and the weather
progressively became cold, owing to the winter monsoon associated with the cold
front. Air temperature fell from the highest of near 25 degrees on Sunday to the
lowest of 11.4 degrees on Tuesday morning, that was the lowest so far this winter.
Meanwhile, it was also dry with relative hummidity lingerring between 30 and 50 per
cent. Sunday, it was cloudy at first, but became fine during the day. Monday and
Tuesday, it was mainly cloudy. Later this week, the winter monsoon moderated
gradually and temperature rose. It was mild during the day on Thursday and Friday,
with air temperature of above 20 degrees in the afternoon. During the weekend, as
affected by an easterly airstream, it was cloudy with some haze, but it was mild
with temperature of above 20 degree throughout the day.
一道冷鋒於星期日清晨橫過華南沿岸，受隨後的冬季季候風影響，本區逐漸
轉冷；氣溫由星期日最高的接近25度，下降至星期二早上的11.4度，是今年
入冬以來的最低記錄。同時，天氣亦乾燥，相對濕度普遍在百分之30至50之
間。星期日，初時多雲，日間轉晴；星期一及二，則大致多雲。本週後期，
冬季季候風逐漸緩和，氣溫回升；星期四及五日間天氣和暖，下午本區的氣
溫上升至20度以上。週末期間，受一股偏東氣流影響，多雲，有幾陣煙霞；
但天氣和暖，整天氣溫都在20度以上。
