Early this week, a northeast monsoon brought cold weather to this district.
The lowest temperature was recorded to be 8.9 degrees on Sunday. Owing to cloudy
condition, temperature remained at 13 degrees or below from Sunday to Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the northeast monsoon was gradually replaced by a maritime airstream.
Temperature over the district rose to about 18 degrees. Meanwhile, it was cloudy,
humid and misty. There were even some drizzle or light rain on Thursday and Friday
morning. Also, it was very wet and foggy then. On Friday morning, visibility once
dropped to only several hundred metres. Followed the replacement of the maritime
airstream with another northeast monsoon, visibility improved significantly
Friday afternoon onwards. However, it got cooler. During the weekend, winds were
strengthening and there were occasional strong winds. It was also cloudy. After the
evening that day, it was rather cool.
本星期初，東北季候風為本區帶來寒冷的天氣；星期日最低氣溫只得8.9度。由
於多雲的關係，星期日至二的氣溫維持在13度或以下。星期三，東北季候風逐
漸被一股海洋氣流取代；本區氣溫回升至18度左右，另外，當日多雲，潮濕及
有薄霧。星期四及星期五早上，更間中有毛毛雨或微雨，天氣非常潮濕且有濃
霧；星期五早上，本區的能見度一度下降至只有幾百米。隨著該海洋氣流被東
北季候風所取代，星期五下午過後能見度逐漸好轉，天氣轉涼。週末期間，風
勢增強，間中有強風，多雲；入夜後，天氣更十分清涼。
