Affected by a rainband, there was occasional drizzle or light rain over this district early this week. A ridge of high pressure brought generally fine weather to the district on Monday. Tuesday, a broad cloud band extended from the northern part of South China Sea towards the coast of Guangdong. That day, it was fine in the district at first. However, cloud amount increased in the afternoon. Wednesday to Friday, it was cloudy with sunny periods. Over the weekend, as affected by a warm and humid maritime airstream, it was cloudy at first, but became fine during the day and air temperature of 28.8 degrees was recorded in the afternoon, that was the highest so far this year.
