A northeast monsoon brought cool and cloudy weather to this district on Sunday with minimum temperature of 17 degrees. Monday onwards, a warm airstream gradually affect the district. There were sunny periods on Monday. It was cloudy in the morning on Tuesday, but cloud thinned out during the day and it became fine in the afternoon. Wednesday, there was abundant sunshine and it was very warm with air temperature up to 29 degrees. Sunny periods were observed on Thursday morning and it became cloudier with some mist that afternoon, as affected by a fresh easterly airstream. Later this week, another warm airstream prevailed over the district, resulting in fine and very warm to hot weather. Maximum temperature close to 30 degrees was recorded during the weekend.
