Afternoon air temperature rose to 30.9 degrees, that was the highest this year. Monday, a trough of low pressure brought thundery rain to the district in the morning. Rain graudally eased off during the day and there were sunny interval in the afternoon. Tuesday, a moist easterly airstream brought cloudy and misty weather to the district. For the rest of the time this week, the weather was influenced by another trough of low pressure. Wednesday, showery in the morning. Thursday and Friday, occasional heavy rain and some thunderstorms. That trough of low pressure weakened gradually on Saturday when it was mainly cloudy.
