Rainy weather prevailed from Tuesday evening till Wednesday afternoon and there were occasional heavy rain and some thunderstorms. An easterly airstream affected the district on Thursday and Friday. It was cloudy with mist then. During the weekend, a southerly airstream brought hot and fine weather to the district and afternoon air temperature rose to 31 degrees.
