Sunday, there were showers over this district in the morning. Monday and Tuesday, it was fine, and hot in the afternoon. Between Wednesday and Friday, Tropical Storm Bopha crossed Taiwan, entered South China Sea, edged closer to the east of Guangdong coastal areas and graudally weakened into an area of low pressure. Under the influence of the outermost rainbands of Bopha, it was showery with occasional thunderstorms. Saturday, a ridge of high pressure set in over the district and it became fine, and hot to very hot in that afternoon.
