Early this week, as affected by southwesterly airstream, there were sunny periods over Tsing Yi and it was hot to very hot during the day. Thursday onwards, there were heavy showers and squally thunderstorms in Tsing Yi under the influence of a trough of low pressure. Saturday, a cold front crossed the coastal areas of southeastern China. Heavy rain associated with a northeast monsoon brought by the cold front affected Tsing Yi. And air temperature was recorded under 30 degrees.
