Showery or rainy weather was dominating this week. Early this week, under the influence of northeast monsoon, it was cloudy with some showers and sunny intervals. During the day on Tuesday, an area of low pressure over the northern part of South China Sea intensified into a tropical depression. That tropical depression landed oveer western Guangdong and weakened into an area of low pressure on Wednesday. That day, its outermost rainbands brought heavy rain and squally thunderstorms to Tsing Yi, with rainfall of nearly 80 millimetres recorded. As the low pressure area in the vincinity of Hainan further weakened, the showery activity gradually reduced. Over the weekend, it was mainly cloudy.

多雲。
