Sunday, under the influence of a northeast monsoon, there was plenty of sunshine and it was dry in Tsing Yi. Typhoon Chebi crossed the central part of South China Sea and gradually weakened into an area of low pressure. A broad cloud band associated with Chebi covered the coastal areas of southeastern China and the northern part of South China Sea. For the rest of this week, it was mainly cloudy with mist over Tsing Yi. There were also sunny intervals during the day.
