Sunday, a northeast monsoon brought cool weather to Tsing Yi. And it gradually moderated on Monday. Sunday, it was cloudy. Monday, there were sunny periods and haze. After crossing the Philippines, Typhoon Utor crossed the central part of South China Sea this week. It weakened into an area of low pressure over the sea near Hainan. Under the concurrent effect of Utor's outermost rainbands and a replenishment of northeast monsoon, it turned to be cloudy to overcast with occasional rain over Tsing Yi during mid-week. Also, it was rather cool. Another intense replenishment of northeast monsoon arrived early in the morning on Saturday. It brought fine and dry weather to Tsing Yi. That afternoon, it was very dry.
