We had a wonderful fall visit to DC on Veteran's Day weekend. We were very privileged to stay with Ueli - our old friend from Cardiff. He's Swiss and married to Imelda with 3 kids: Leonhard (4) and twins Xenia (with Ueli in photo) and Livia (with Imelda in photo).
Now working in the Swiss Embassy in DC, Ueli and Imelda have a beautiful home in the north west end of DC.
We visited the Mall: Capitol building, White House, Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson memorials as well as the Vietnam memorial (where they were commemorating Veteran's day). We spent time at just two of the museums: the American History and the Air and Space museums.
