The Timeline Of Tupac Shakur

1971 Tupac was born in NYC to Afeni Shakur. She was just out of jail on bombing charges when Tupac was born. The name Tupac Amaru is taken from the Incas meaning " Shining Serpent " and Shakur is the arabic meaning for " Thankful To God ".

1986 Tupac and his family move to Baltimore and Tupac is enrolled in the Baltimore school of arts. He also begins his rap carrer by writing his first song under the name of MC New York.

1988 Tupac moves again with his family to Marin City, CA. Not much later Tupac is selling drugs with the help of some new friends. Mutulu Shakur ( Tupac's Stepfather ) is sentenced to 60 years in prison thanks to the invovlement of an armed car robbery in 1981

1990 Tupac joins Digital Underground as a part time dancer

1991 Tupac brings out his first successful album wich is called " 2pacalypse Now " wich helped the singles " Trapped " and " Brenda's Got A Baby" top the charts. He was also helping Digital Underground by appearing on another album wich was called " Sons Of The P "

1992 Tupac stars stars in his first film by Earnest Dickerson " Juice "

1993 Tupac stars in his next film by John Singleston " Poetic Justice " wich also starred Janet Jackson

1994 Tupac release's his second album " Thug Life " and appears in his third movie " Above The Rim " Tupac's sex assault trial opens. He is then shot when he becomes the victim of an attempted robbery outside his music studio in New York One day after being shot Tupac is convicted of sexually abusing a woman he led into his hotel.

1995 " Me Against The World " becomes a multi million selling album He is next sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison for sexual assault. After nearly eight months in jail Tupac is released on bail when he appeals

1996 Tupac's fourth solo album debut's in at No 1 on the billboards album chart, he sells almost six million copies.             In Tupac's final movie he plays a detective in Orion's Crime Thriller         " Gang  Related " Tupac is shot in Las Vegas on September the 13th after watching a heavy weight boxing match with Suge Knight. He is Prounounced dead at 4:03 pm
