| Weeskelf Fancy Firefly CD is one of Deenie's red daughters, out of Am Ch Sanbrook Ready Set Go, born April 1996. She was purchased sight unseen by a young lady named Robyn Langille & her Mom, of Nova Scotia, specifically for obedience and agility and obtained her CD by May 1998. This wee dog was destined to be with Robyn from day one. Before receiving the dog, I had asked Robyn to choose a registered name. She came back with Firefly! The night before 'Pippen" was to leave, she was with at least 6 other minpins in the back yard, and dusk was setting in. On the edge of the patio lights, Pippen was bobbing her heard up and down, left to right, and we the humans were not too sure what she was doing. None of the other dogs were interested, they were too busy running around. She was the only one watching - can you guess? - a "firefly" travelling up and down the yard! Now I ask you, is that fate, or what? |
