I had bred and shown Siamese cats for about ten years before I started going to the dogs. In 1981, the purchase of a Shetland Sheepdog was the start of Weeskelf Kennels. Shelties have kept me busy from then up until 1999. It was in 1986 that three month old Frontenac Make My Day came to live with us. "Terra" taught me how to show MinPins and she was my first Min Pin Champion! I am or have been a member of the Can. Shetland Sheepdog Assoc. -CSSA; Can. Miniature Pinscher Club - CMPC; Miniature Pinscher Club Of America - MPCA; CKC and local All Breed Dog Clubs - OKC & ACA. All my dogs are presently sold on CKC Non-Breeding contracts, or spayed/neutered before settling into loving, caring pet homes. All pups go with a two year health warranty, first vaccination (If not first two), tattoo, health check - (lung/heart/eye/de-worming/joint problems), feeding instructions, grooming and training suggestions. The added bonus here is, I will always return your telephone call should help be needed in any way! I have been a past President of our local Club - Arnprior Canine Association, as has my husband Bob. I was a previous President, Central Director and Treasurer of the CMPC and this year I am Treasurer and Newsletter Editor of CMPC. Bob is the CMPC President for this term (2001 -2002). We at Weeskelf may have two litters of Miniature Pinschers most years, some years not so lucky while another year; three of our girls might be in season at sometime throughout that year. Visitors now know that a puppy pen in the dining room is just part of the furniture decor. All my dogs are well socialized, in that they meet lots of people and other dogs that come into my home for grooming (my other hobby besides working F/T as a nurse). Please make your enquires to my e-mail address, or sign my guestbook. I check both every day. I usually answer inquiries on the same day, or very soon after, if I have been away at a dog show, seminar or just a plain holiday (what's a holiday if there is no dog show to go to?). Breeding for Quality not Quantity! Have you hugged your Min Pin today? Have a Nice Day! |
