Bill Eidson's Research Projects

As a Graduate Research Assistant, I worked on a variety of projects in the
Purdue University School of Civil Engineering.  My primary research was in
the area of Traffic Signal Systems under the guidance of Dr. Darcy Bullock.
Below are the projects I was involved with and their web pages or links,
when available.

My Emerging Education Opportunities in Civil Infrastructure and Analysis of Arrival Type papers were both accepted for presentation at the 80th Annual of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) in Washington, D.C., January 2001.  The "Analysis of Arrival Type Estimation Procedures" paper was published in the Transportation Research Record #1776.  TRR is available in university engineering libraries or from the TRB.  I am extremely excited about that honor.

I was also honored to present my paper, entitled Tools for Educating Students on ITS Fundamentals, at the 9th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems, held in Chicago in October 2002.  All these papers were co-authored by Dr. Darcy Bullock - thank you very much for your assistance writing and researching, as well as for your guidance and support on the papers.
