Vanessa Said Something Wonderful!

I think Vanessa is suffering from summer break boredom, but she sent this fabulous email I just had to put up!

ok, im sorry, but i was writing a delightfully wonderful definition of tab when my hand became posessed-- you know, like bruce campbell's hand in evil dead 2??-- and suddenly i clicked the reset button.

DAMMIT JANET!

but hey, i love tabitha enough to at least try to recapture the literary genius that was at work about... oh.. 5 minutes ago.

*sigh*

where to begin?

well, i first met tab at the sherwood mixer- thats when all the rosa parks kiddoes get to meet the farquhar (sp?) peeps before the 1st day of freshman year. i remember writing her name on this piece of paper. and i wrote her full name, too... i went: "TA-BI-THA" and no, this part is NOT bullshit, cuz you know you separate your syllables depending upon how many vowels are in the word! [ok, now im just displaying my vast knowledge of the english language.. which is prolly not a good idea, eh?]

well since then i've seen tabitha numerous, numerous times-- despite that we go to different schools. i cant say i know her as well as her closer friends, but i can give you a description. [and if i do really good, i get a prize, right?]

tabitha is silly.

she really is.

she likes bright, shiny things.. fire engines, for instance, as i learned during the olney days parade. and i think another token of her affection for shiny things might have to do with her safety pin necklace that she sports like no one else could [the enquirer fashion section aint got nuthin on you, grrrlfriend! mmhmm!]

tabitha's best friend is monica.

i know this because monica goes to my school. that, and the fact that whenever something fun is being planned [ie picnics] its always tab and monica as the force behind it.

oh!! which reminds me!

tab is fun!

she always likes to hold parties/picnics and such and you always see her attending them as well. she's a crazy-fun chic.

tabitha likes to go around barefoot.

and because of this, when i think of tabitha, i usually liken her to a pixie.. or a faerie. [that and the fact that her halloween 2000 costume was that of a gypsy, which may have assisted in that]

tabitha is loyal.

i say this because she is always present for any event. or at least any blake event. she's so supportive and wonderful and she does things just for the hell of doing them..

which leads me to another level-- tabitha is an individual. and im not trying to make this sappy or show favoritism and shit, but just now thinking about it, she is. i dont think she'[s quite like anyone else i know. she definately doesnt fit into any social/clique group.. you cant put a label on her like "punk" or "skater" or "goth" or anything because she's just such a melange of tab that she cant really be defined.

she's not so much a mystery, but rather someone who could give a fuck what people think of her and how she's percieved.

she's a good chic.

thank you for reading this despite it's being filled with digressions... it's just that catcher in the rye = the bible and theres holden caulfield waiting for me somewhere out there!
