| Now that you see what I have to offer on this branch of my website, I can tell you how I became obsessed, if you care. I casually watched the fifth season and MOCKED it. Oh the horror! But then the movie came out on June 19, 1998 (two days after school let out. Oh, a life? I swear I have one!) and went to see it with my good pals Monica (who lovingly typed up the episode guide!), Alanna (whose obsession frightens me a bit, and instills awe in my heart) and Richard (of whom I can say little.) |

| Ah, the movie. T'was a good piece of art the first times I saw it. I saw it a second time in theatres with Monica and Alanna. FX then began their "Hundred Nights of 'The X-Files'" and I tuned in EVERY NIGHT all last summer to watch Mulder and Scully. And, as soon as I realized it was on weekends in syndication, I watched X-Files every day. The only night I missed on FX was "D.P.O.", but I saw it in syndication, so the world is a happy place. |

| And on November 8, 1999, I sat down to watch "The Beginning." And I missed not one episode, except "S.R. 819" because we had an ice storm and no power for thirty-six hours. Luckily I had a friend with a generator that graciously recorded it. |

| The fruits of this obsession are my X-Files collage and this website. And the corruption of Monica, who is now obsessed (or good enough of a friend to pretend to be). Soon I'll have an X-Files links page, because if we don'thelp each other something bad will happen, I'm sure. And a scanned pic of my lovely collage. But ciao for now, I need to get a life!!! |
