INSPIRATION: First sparked when I saw "the Shawshank Redemption" in religion last year. I actually wrote it after I saw "La Rédemption de Shawshank" (Shawshank Redemption, French dub) on Radio-Canada (French CBC)
SYNOPSIS: Okee, some stuff you should know before reading this. Like i said before, this was sparked by The Shawshank Redemption. I cast Yohji in the same role that Andy Dufregne (sp?), and I made some dude up for the role that the french dub called "les soeurs" (literally: the sisters) No graphic descriptions tho, and they DO get what's coming to them in the end.
OTHER NOTES: There was an Omi storyline to go along with this, but I cut it out cuz it's 8 pages long without it!

Things had quieted down significantly in recent months for the men and boy of Weiß. All the Takatories were gone, including little Mamoru. Only Tsukiyono Omi survived. Schwartz and Esset were out of their hair, as well as Scherient. Yohji had finally put Asuka and Neu's deaths behind him. Ken still coached his little kids' soccer team. They had come in first in their league last season, and he couldn't be prouder. He expected a surge in the number of kids would tryout for his team come spring.

Aya-chan was awake, and Momoe-san had taken her in. She and Tomoe Sakura worked at Koneko no Sumu le now. After a few missions in the Mobile flower shop, Ran decided he wanted to be with her, and the guys moved back into that quaint little flower shop in Tokyo.

But all good things must come to an end. Shortly thereafter, they were stung, and the place was swamped with cops.

"I need Kudou Yohji, Takatori Mamoru, alias Tsukiyono Omi, Hidaka Ken and Fujimiya Ran." A spokesperson announced.

"Hai?" the four replied in unison.

"You are hereby under arrest for the crimes committed by the terrorist group Weiß. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney . . . ."


Weiß spotted Manx not long after arriving at the station, and she followed them to where they were being fingerprinted and photographed.

"Don't bother calling a lawyer." She told Ran. "We're giving you one. He'll get you off. We're not done with you yet, but the new commissioner doesn't know about Kritiker.

"Wakatta." Ran nodded. They called Koneko instead, assuring Momoe-san and the girls that everything was going to be fine. They were given their prison uniforms.

"So what are we going to tell everyone?" Yohji asked Manx when he had finished changing.

"Nothing." She said. "And don't get in trouble."

Omi was separated from the group and shipped to Juvenile hall, not being over the age of majority, and the others were escorted to their cell.

On the wildest of coincidences, the guard escorting them to their cell had been in the shop a few days earlier, buying a bouquet for his wife.

"Saaayy. . . aren't you the guys from that flower shop?" he recognized them. The guys nodded.

"How did your wife like the flowers?" Yohji asked. The guard beamed

"Loved 'em! I just gotta warn ya: watch your back while you're in there."


"Hey, Shigeru-chan, did you hear about them newbies?" one inmate asked of another. The inmates were assembled in a large cafeteria for breakfast.

"Mmm-hmm." Shigeru replied. "They're right across from me. Florists, I hear?"

That was when the aforementioned 'newbies' entered the mess hall. They had been in prison for about a day, and looked decidedly out of place. There was a young redhead with striking violet eyes who acted like he'd just completed his life's work. There was a short brunette who looked far too cheerful for someone who was just arrested. The last one was a tall man with chin length sandy blonde hair, and jade eyes. He was slim with a tight behind, and he was shaking. It was most noticeable in his hands. In fact, the brunette had to help him walk. The blonde had a unique way of dealing with it; he was holding his hands out and showing them off to the other two. When they received their rations, the brunette was stuck carrying the two trays. They chose a seat at Shigeru's table.

"Just try not to spill it all over yourself, okay?" The brunette joked, giving the blonde his meal.

"Is he that nervous?" Shigeru asked innocently. The blonde man sweatdropped.

"I'm NOT nervous!" he insisted. "It's nicotine withdrawal! I'm using this to get me off it."

"Sure." Shigeru smiled, and introduced himself. "Name's Shigeru."

"Ken." The brunette replied.
"Ran." , the redhead. And the sexy, tight assed blonde?
"Yohji." The blonde grinned. Shigeru found it captivating. He wanted this 'Yohji' fellow. And he'd have him, before the week was out.


That morning, Weiß had their first meeting with the lawyer from Kritiker. It was held in a room at Juvie, to 'protect' Omi from the 'harder, more dangerous' criminals.

"Oh, wow, I actually get to meet Weiß! At Kritiker where I work, no one asks questions. All we knew about you were your codenames." He explained enthusiastically. "So let's start there." Weiß introduced themselves and the lawyer continued with a briefing.

"We're working on a deal with Japanese intelligence to merge with Kritiker. If we're successful the charges will be dropped and things will go back to normal." This came as somewhat of a shock to the four. They had been expecting a quick and easy conviction. "If not, then I'm going to go with the necessity defense."

"Necessity? You mean we needed to kill all those people?" Ken asked.

"No, but society needed you too. Otherwise all those dark beasts would still be free and unpunished." What was it with Kritiker, acting as if Weiß was so important? Not one of the members would stay if given the chance to leave, and a guarantee of a normal life. But that was impossible.


That evening was the first time the men were separated. It was to shower. There were common showers, but it was clear that their reputation preceded them. With the knowledge of the charges laid against them, they were split up for 'security reasons.' Ran and Ken had no problems. Yohji's experience, however, was a different story.

He was just about finished when they came. The man they had met during breakfast entered with a host of others, and they all had a similar gleam in their eyes that Yohji didn't particularly like. In fact, he couldn't stand it, especially the look in Shigeru's eye as he strutted up to Yohji.

"Oooh, I'm going to enjoy having you." He grinned mischievously. Yohji pulled an Aya-kun and just glared back at him.

"Keep dreaming, buddy." He replied coldly. Manx's last orders to the group echoed in his mind even as he spoke.

Don't get in trouble.

He was a master of asphyxiation. Even without his wire, he could waste them easily if they tried anything.

"Believe me, this is better than any dream." Shigeru said, and his entourage took that as their cue to begin beating Yohji, kicking punching and anything else to get him down. Although Yohji resisted, he was hopelessly outnumbered and was unable to stop them in his current state: Naked, dripping wet, unarmed and alone. Then Shigeru was upon him.

In the change room, the prison guard they had met the day they were arrested could hear muffled cries of pain. When the cries stopped, Yohji was left on the floor, shivering uncontrollably. The warm water, still streaming down his body was little comfort.

When Yohji returned from the showers, he sat down on his bed and sulked there for the rest of the day. Ken sighed.

"What is it now? Geez, I don't know what to do with him when he gets like this." He commented to Ran.

"Once the trial is over, we won't have to keep up appearances." Ran pointed out, still expecting a conviction. " If there's something bothering him, he can deal with it then." He was right. After the trial, their secret would be out. One thing wouldn't change, though. Knowing their luck, they'd probably still get stuck gardening.


The next day proceeded along similar lines, with two exceptions. Omi had convinced the guards to let him meet with the others in the adult prison, and their visitor was not the Kritiker lawyer, but girls from the shop, concerned about the 'flower men'.

"Omi-san, why did they arrest you?" one girl asked, teary eyed. Omi exchanged glances with the others. He couldn't tell them the truth just yet.

"They think we've been cheating on our taxes." He answered. "I'm sure things will clear up when they check our records." Ken sighed, relieved.

Not too far away, other inmates noticed the girls.

"What you talkin' to these wusses for?" they asked indignantly. "Don't you want a real man?" My, such a large vocabulary.

"Sure, but we're not old enough for Yohji-san." One answered honestly.

"Yeah, and Aya-san looks scary sometimes." Said another. A third glomped Ken.

" Ken-san's the best, and he's just fine for me!" A brawl ensued, and Ken held his ground nicely until his attackers were taken away. Ken had to spend the night in solitary confinement.


Another evening, another shower, another 'attack' by Shigeru on Yohji's person. He HAD gotten over the nicotine withdrawal, but he still couldn't stop from getting flogged. Cutting off their air supply indefinitely was exactly what Manx meant when she told them not to get in trouble.

Just fighting did no good either. The fight just served to turn them on. Waiting to get it over with did no good. Being in a position of power over him turned them on. So either way he looked at it, he was screwed, if you'd pardon the pun. And it was by NO means a pleasant experience. Once he'd returned to his cell, he noted that Shigeru was not in his, across the road. So he decided to take out his frustrations by rolling up his mattress and beating the stuffing out of it.

"Yohji, Daijobun ka?" Ran asked. He wasn't the type to let a simple jail sentence upset him this much.

"I just found my next target." He hissed, punching the mattress.

"Target? Who?" Ran asked, confused.

"The pervert across the road." Yohji kept beating on his mattress. "He's a damned homosexual rapist."

Ran frowned. Everyone in the place was guilty of some violent crime or other. This was not exactly a minimum-security prison. No reason for Yohji to get so angry about one individual. Unless. . .

"Aw, Yohji, how long has that been going on for?" Ran asked.

"Since we got here." He gave the mattress one final blow before it fell over. Ran glared at the empty cell across from theirs.

"Take down the target once the trial is over." He said.

"That was what I had in mind." Yohji sighed. "But until then, I'm stuck."


Their next meeting with the Kritiker lawyer was scheduled to take place in two days' time. For Yohji, that time meant a flogging so hard that it left even Shigeru wondering how he managed to walk straight afterwards.

For Ken, it meant another fight with the inmate jealous of their fangirls, which left him with a black eye, and some cuts and bruises. It left the other inmate with those same injuries, plus a broken fist and a sprained ankle.

Ran had a fairly quiet time, because his scowl was interpreted as a readiness to rip the arm off the next person who bothered him. For Omi, Juvie was an insult to him, his intelligence, and the charges with which he was being tried for.


When the two days had passed, they were taken to a private room. It had a table surrounded by comfortable-looking chairs. Yohji chose to remain standing, but the others took seats.

"What's wrong, Yohji?" Omi asked innocently. Ken and Ran exchanged nervous glances, but at least Yohji was able to retain some element of good humour.

"I always knew I was popular with the ladies, but I had no idea I was so good-looking even men can't resist me." He mused. Omi didn't understand.

"The guy in the cell across from us has been screwing Yohji in the shower. Needless to say, Yohji doesn't like the attention." Ken explained.

"But why do you stand for it?" Omi asked, wide-eyed.

"Actually, I usually end up on the floor within the first few minutes." Yohji rolled his eyes, and Omi blushed bright red at the mental image.

" YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!" He insisted.

"Fine, fine. It's because Manx told us not to get in trouble." Yohji said.

"Well those orders were just revoked." Manx added, stepping into the room. The lawyer was not with her. "We've just struck that deal, and the charges will be dropped first thing tomorrow. I expect you to have dealt with this problem before then. Just don't kill him. He's already being punished."


By the time Yohji had to shower that evening, he had the whole mission planned. He didn't even turn on the water when he was let in. He waited for his target. It wasn't a long wait.

"Well hello sexy." Shigeru greeted him cheerfully. "Shouldn't you be cleaning yourself?" Yohji maintained an air of good humour, waiting for his cue.

"There's no point. I'm not dirty - yet." He said. Shigeru chuckled.

"How right you are." Shigeru snapped his fingers, and his cronies fell into line behind him. "Get him." He ordered, and they were upon him. The followers tried anything and everything to cause Yohji to fall, but by the time the fight was over, the only ones on the floor were several unconscious followers. Yohji grabbed Shigeru by the neck, and forced him against the nearest wall.

"I don't think you understand." He said. "I'm not referring to the semen you mean to spill. I'm referring to the blood that's on my hands." He squeezed Shigeru's neck further into the wall.

"What?" Shigeru choked.

"The reason why I didn't do this before was because I'd been ordered to be a good boy. But those orders have been revoked." Yohji glared dangerously. Shigeru was almost blue by this point. He wanted to ask just who this 'sexy' was. That was somewhat Impossible given his current situation.

"Who?" was what he managed to squeeze out. Yohji leaned in tantalizingly close as he whispered his last words to his former tormentor.

"Weiß. The White Hunter." Yohji released Shigeru and left. Shigeru collapsed onto the floor, and was left there, gasping desperately for air.


The next day, the prison guard friend came to escort Weiß to court.

"Before I let you guys out, I just wanna thank whoever wasted Miss Shigeru there." He said.

"I didn't waste him." Yohji replied.

"No, but since then, he's been as quiet as a mouse." The guard was grateful for the reduction in Shigeru-related problems.


They were escorted down to the courtroom, where their lawyer was waiting. The crown attorney looked somewhat annoyed. Whatever was coming next came from over his head.

Once the Judge had entered and had settled in, he started.

"Will the defendants please rise?" He asked. Yohji, Ran, Ken and Omi complied.

"The four of you are charged with the murders of several high-profile criminals, many of whom are at the top of several most wanted lists, under the name of the group Weiß." The judge continued. Omi stole a sideways glance at the Crown attorney. He was glaring sullenly.

"However, it has come to the attention of this court that Weiß is a sub-group of a division of Government intelligence whose mandate is to stop these individuals by any means. With that knowledge, the charges against you have been dropped. You are free to go."


Things had quieted down significantly in recent months for the men and boy of Weiß. . .
