session prior to the lecture at 5:30 P.M. in the Beis Medrash followed by the

Pesach falls on Shabbat and issues related to the Seder. Everyone is
welcome to e-mail questions in advance to RabbiWasserman or any of the
Rabbis. This "Ask the Rabbis" session will be a wonderful

MATZA FUND - It is an ancient and time honored tradition
held dear among Jews universally and codified into Jewish law to reach out and
help those of our brethren who are in need with financial assistance to be able
to properly celebrate the holiday. This fund is known as Maot Chittin or
the Matza Fund. You are welcome to forward your contribution to the shul
office or directly to Rabbi Wasserman for distribution. Checks may be
made payable to Shaare Torah Special Fund. Please write Maot Chittin or
Matza Fund in the memo.
SPEAKING OF DINNERS…We are already underway with next year's
banquet "Esther's Feast". A Purim masquerade ball will be held
on Sunday, March 12th, 2006, one day prior to the Megillah Reading. A lot
of strong positive support for this has already been heard. So, put on
your thinking caps, you have a full year to plan great costumes. Be
creative and exciting and choose whom you may wish to portray, using biblical
figures for example, the Greek myths and/or literary or historical characters
that you know and love. Undoubtedly, some figures may be a little tough
to portray in a synagogue setting. We, of course, depend upon your
sensitivity and decorum in keeping with a shul event.
WISH LIST - White copy paper, #10 window envelopes and, of
course, stamps are always welcome.
DONATE A CAR - If you want to donate a car to Shaare Torah,
please contact Levi Tewner at 412-521-1598 for details of how this program
works.
