| What was the answer? History, Literature, Geography, Biology, Mathematics, Economics - the race around universal knowledge had begun. Victory, though, could only be found at the center, and it could only be partial: universal knowledge was scattered into tiny bits of truth and falsehood, of reality and dream that no reason would ever be able to assemble wholly. But these bits could always be useful to build something new. Anyway, the fun thing was to try, and to achieve something. While General Kwar the Dictator, Sarkon the Prophet, Dr. Qworm the Mad Scientist and cookie the harlequin are searching for a fragment of universal knowledge, important school exams are approaching for you. Throw a 6-sided die*. If you roll a 1, a 2 or a 3, you fail: go to 11. If you roll 4 or 5, your result is uncertain: go to 23. If you roll a 6, you pass: go to 16. *If you haven't any, or if you don't want to use it anymore, you may also choose the result. |
