Dr. Qworm the Mad Scientist soon caught up first with cookie the harlequin, then with Sarkon the Prophet, but not with General Kwar, who was, as usual, leading, and who was so far ahead that he couldn't be seen anymore. Dreitos Qworm fell into the cloud at a stunning speed, and before he even realized it, he was through. Thoughtful, he watched it move away, asking himself how, for the harlequin's sake, this cloud could conceal anything which was of any importance at all, and wondering how he would find a way to go back to the Welgon Age, when a shock such as he had never felt before surprised him from behind.
