Ships
use the Welland Canal to bypass Niagara Falls. These bridges are
common along the canal. The middle section of the bridge is raised
up
between the two towers allowing a ship to pass through. This one
is on an unused part of the canal so is never raised.

The
unused portion of the Welland Canal is good for fishing and boating.

Trails
are common along the canal's edge. These are used for walking,
biking
and roller blading.

Trails
like this one make it easier to walk and
bike around the city.

Food
Basics is a 10 minute walk away. Once a week the students will
be
able to go to a grocery store with the landlord.

Next
to Food Basics is a pharmacy, walk-in clinic and post office.

This
is the Seaway
Mall it hosts many different types of stores and businesses.
On the right is Zellers a low-cost department store. Buses make
frequent
stops at the mall and, as you can see, there's lots of free parking.

There is a bus
stop in front of the
house. Buses come
every thirty minutes.
