Learning from Scratch
This is my first attempt at using this new editor. They came and got my old machine last Friday---I felt like I was losing an old friend.
But I think I may just owe Microsoft an apology. I have been playing with this new editor: Microsoft Front Page Editor '98 and I honestly don't understand why anyone would write HTML from scratch again.
I appreciate having the knowledge. I appreciate being able to go into a document's source page and understand what is going on---but believe me--I love the ease with which this editor does it's "thing".
I met with the plumber today at lunch. He said he would call me tonight to let me know what the bill would be. I think I am scared. I am hoping under $300.00, but you never know.
The entry is going to be very short. I have a lot to work on here and still have to really understand this editor enough to be able to work on the web pages here at work---that is what they pay me for, after all.
So I will wish you a fond "seeya" and write again tomorrow.
Oh, yeah---this thing lets you change text color sooooooo easily!
And while I am at it---may as well throw in an image! Except--OK---now here is one of my problems....I can't figure out how to get the text to align center with the image--writing out the code--I could do that---with this Editor? I haven't figured it out yet!Previous Entry
