| Bro. Jim came home from Montana. He had been gone one |
| year and a half. We were all very glad to see him. |

| Br. Jim went back to Montana. Mr. Woodard and Mr. Young |
| went with him. |
| Tuesday, April 01, 1902 |
| Our dear little boy Lloyd died. Oh how hard it is to part with |
| him. But God knows best. He is now happy with the angels |
| in heaven. |
| Thursday, April 03, 1902 |
| We buried Little Loyd ("our little man") in the St. Francis |
| Cemetary where his Grandfather, Uncle Martin, and 4 of his |
| little cousins lay. He is gone. And we will miss him but will |
| never forget him. |
| Tuesday, June 24, 1902 |
| I went as a delegate from the town of Maywood to the |
| Republican county convention at Foley. This is the first time I |
| ever went as a delegate. |
| Thursday, August 28, 1902 |
| Maud Whilt, Joe's Wife came home on a visit she was here |
| today with her little boy Ray. A fine boy baby. Joe could not |
| come home this year. We were all sorry as we would of liked |
| to have saw him. |
| Thursday, September 18, 1902 |
| Bro. Jim was married at Kalispell Montana to Miss Louise |
| Emard. We wish them happiness and joy all this world can |
| give them. May they be as happy as Manda and I have been |
| in our married life without our death sorrow by loosing our |
| "little man" |
