| Came back to Kalispel and took supper with Joe, and started |
| for home at 12 o'clock midnight and Joe & Maud started for |
| Seattle. |

| Got to Willmar Minn. found my train gone a great |
| disappointment as I expected to be with Manda & the |
| children tonight. Well I am on Minnesota soil anyway, so I am |
| thankful for that. |
| Saturday, November 21, 1903 |
| Got home at 8 o'clock P.M. surprised them all, but they were |
| glad to see me and I was glad to get back again. This is the |
| longest that I ever was away from home. |

| Manda & I went to Foley and signed a mortgage for $650.00 |
| on our place so we could finish on the homestead in Oregon. |
