| Saturday, June 01, 1889 |
| I started for Aitken at 10:48 A.M. arrived there at 2:15 P.M. |
| started for Farm Island Lake. got to Neil ??Macks, at 6 P.M. |
| and stayed all night. Was very tired. |
| Sunday, June 02, 1889 |
| ??Mack took me over in his canoe. When we got there, |
| Fulton and Hilda were gone to Macks so we had to wait until |
| evening for something to eat. We got pretty hungry. |
| Monday, June 03, 1889 |
| I went out hunting this evening and I killed a little spotted fawn. |
| I did not intend to kill it. It is the only one I ever did kill. |
| Tuesday, June 04, 1889 |
| I caught a little fawn alive. Mrs. ??Amdon and Guy came on a |
| visit. there is quite a crowd of us here now. |
| Thursday, June 06, 1889 |
| Fulton and I went up to Bay Lake to get some lumber to make |
| a cupboard of. We had a very hard time getting up and |
| down the river with the boat. |
| Friday, June 07, 1889 |
| Charly Kibby and I went to a dance at Del. Caurses?? we |
| went three miles by water and four by land. there was only |
| four married women and one girl there. We danced once |
| apiece. We went back as far as Mr. Reynolds and stayed all |
| night there, got home at noon. |
| Monday, June 10, 1889 |
| Mrs. Amodon went home and I went to look at the Beaulen |
| place. for a homestead did not like it. |
