| Wednesday, December 02, 1891 |
| We moved out of our hunting camp. We killed 11 deer while |
| there. and I killed 5 of them my self. This is a nice warm day, |
| snow about all gone. |
| Thursday, December 03, 1891 |
| I went up to see Myrtle and we agreed to quit going together |
| as she wanted to many fellows and that did not suit me. I |
| staid until twelve at night. We kissed, shook hands, and |
| parted good friends. So ends another summer courtship and |
| love story. Ah! Well such is life. |
| Tuesday, December 08, 1891 | There is a margin |
| I went to St. Cloud, stayed with Hilda Wednesday went up to | note here that can |

| teacher. Friday went to see Whitneys. Lestie, Effie and I |
| went to a sociable had a good time. Saturday I went up to |
| Sauk Rapids with Lizzie Hurt [ she staid all night at Hildas ]. I |
| had not seen her in along time. It seemed like old times to be |
| with her again. Came home on an extra. Dec. 12 at 7 |

| Friday, December 18, 1891 | She married Bill Clark |
| I went to Hubbards to see Lizzie Warner. I went in the | ?? she got in the |
| afternoon and visited her school. Stayed all night. Bill Clark, | family way |
| Lizzie and I went down on the lake and I put on the skates |
| awhile. Came home in the afternoon. I don't know how to |
| take Lizzie. |
