Saturday, August 19, 1893

I went down to Tripps to a little dance stayed until after

supper. then went down to Hurts and stayed all night next

morning went over to Martin's took dinner with Mr. Willis

came back to Hurts. Lizzie and I went walking had a good

time. Arthur Shull and the Tripp girls came down. Lizzie and I

went as far as the Rail Road with them. I stayed until nine

o'clock got home at eleven.

Monday, August 21, 1893

Ralph Shull and the Tripp girls came up here and stayed all

night we had a great time with them out on the swing. Joe & I.

Thursday, September 07, 1893

never did

I went down to Princeton to attend court. Hired a livery rig

and went out to see Lizzie Gates ?? of Princeton. Staid all

night had a good visit with her. She is a C.C. girl and a nice

one too. Expect to go see her again sometime.

Wednesday, October 11, 1893

Joe, Jim & I went up to Gilman's mill and camped two nights.

We killed 54 partridges, 2 squirrels saw a couple of deer and

a wolf. The 13, Joe & Jim went home and I went up to

Cheeleys. Had a good time we went out hunting and killed a

fawn & come home the 15th at 4 P.M.

Thursday, October 26, 1893

Joe & I went up on the Eastern Railway to hunt. Got off the

train at Mansfield and went to a lumber camp one 1/2 mile

this side.
