| Thursday, May 24, 1894 |
| Jennie Tripp and Arthur Shull were married at Sauk Rapids |
| so goes another of my old girls. And he was ?? to be. |
| Sunday, June 10, 1894 |
| I went to Oak Park to meeting in the forenoon took dinner at |
| Mrs. Checks then Mandy and I went for a walk. Came down |
| home for supper then I went home with her and stayed until |
| twelve o'clock that night. We had a good time. |
| Monday, June 11, 1894 |
| Henry Boultman & I went to Elk Lake fishing. Got there at |
| noon. Fished that afternoon and the next fore noon and only |
| caught one small pickerel which we fried for dinner. Went |
| home the afternoon of the 12th. |
| Thursday, June 14, 1894 |
| I had a row with the old man about Jim. I packed up most of |
| my stuff and started for Farm Island Lake. Mother felt very |
| sorrowful to have me go and I felt that way my self. I stopped |
| with Manda part of the afternoon and she was grieved to see |
| me going away. It came onto her so sudden. Poor girl I |
| hated to leave her [ that was the first time - Many times in |
| after life did I leave her - but I always returned to her again ] |
| but such is life. If I only knew when I would see her again I |
| would feel different. |
| Friday, June 15, 1894 | We were very glad to |
| I got to Aitken at 4 A.M. got breakfast and dinner took the | see each other |
| stage and arrived at Fulton's at 6 o'clock in the afternoon. I |
| found them all in good shape. |
