Harrywood, Anthony and I went into the woods to look at

some claims.

We came back to Vollimer.

We went to Lewiston and took our timber claims.

We came back to Vollmer.

We started back to Collins.

We looked over our claims and stayed in woods cabin. We

could hardly get old Fran Robideau along with us as he was

so tired.

Came back to Collins.

A real mulligan

Anthony & I killed 4 partridges and we has a fine stew.

Wednesday, April 18, 1900

Mr. Locke & son Anthony and I went over the divide into the

St. Maries country and camped on the South Fork.

Thursday, April 19, 1900

We traveled down the St. Maries River all day. It began to

rain in the evening and we camped in an old stable.

Friday, April 20, 1900

We went down the river all day and saw ranches , meadows

and fine scenery. Camped on the bank of the river close to

Santa P. Office.

Saturday, April 21, 1900

We went up Santa Creek and camped and camped S.E. of

Emida Post Office.

Sunday, April 22, 1900

We went to Ryans cabin and camped there.

Friday, April 27, 1900

We went back to St. Maries River and camped at the same

place that we camped the 20th.
