Hello!

I'm MsMoonTiger.
This page introduces some of my interests and hobbies. Want to see a picture of me and Selden? Here it is!

I read most mysteries, and I've created this introduction to
Mysteries with Quilts.

In my academic life, I've spent quite a bit of time studying
Feminist Utopian Literature.

I follow a path of eclectic paganism
that can be semi-classified as Women's Spirituality.

My hobbies include
Quilting, and Other Needle Arts,
collecting Teapots,
and 3-D Puzzles.

Here's a collection of some of my favorite links.

And here's some links for my niece and nephew.

MsMoonTiger isn't, of course, my real name, just something I adopted for
Yahoo Chat,
where I spend most of my time
chatting with friends in the
Books and Literature Room
.
I've met lots of great people there,
and even learned of a really great book or two!
I've got links to lots of their pages too!

I just made my name up at random. Months later, "Juno" asked me if it was from Moon Tiger, by Penelope Lively. I'd never heard of the book, or the author, but I have read it since. Here's what it says:

"On the bedside table is a Moon Tiger. The Moon Tiger is a green coil that slowly burns all night, repelling mosquitoes, dropping away into lengths of grey ash, its glowing red eye a companion of the hot insect-rasping darkness." (I seem to be named after an insect-repellant.)
