Wednesday night my boyfriend and I saw "When the Cat's Away."
If something's cat-related, it draws me like a shiny object.
The movie was pretty good, but not as good as I hoped. We saw a
preview for "Ponette," which I'd like to see.

Yesterday we saw Mike Leigh's ("Secrets & Lies" director) newest movie,
"Career Girls." His films usually have very distinctive characters, and
this one was no different. The movie focuses on two women who were friends
as roommates and later reunite. I loved Hannah's brusque wit, and her fortune
telling scheme using Wuthering Heights..."Miz Bronte, Miz Bronte,..."
I won't tell you anymore; you'll have to see it for yourself.
