collecting words

I love words: some for their sounds, some for their meanings.
Since 1995, I've been collecting words, writing them down in a
plain red-covered notebook. Some I stumbled upon while reading,
others I've chased down in dictionaries or books. A few words in my
notebook:

I collect some words from various fields of study; these relate to
butterflies:
