The Florida AAUW Board of Directors at its winter board meeting voted unanimously to make changes in the Board's present configuration. These changes will be voted on by the membership at Convention 2000 in April. Your branch presidents have received these proposed changes. In addition, the proposal with reasons for the changes should also be available in your branch newsletters.

The Board urges all members to read the proposal and rationale before convention. There will be workshops during convention and before the floor vote to explain and clarify the proposals.
