I always kind of had a feeling that I was gay but it wasn’t confirmed until I was 16. I had crushes on girls since I was 10, but I always just thought it was more envy than a crush. My friend and I used to fool around a little but that doesn’t mean anything. Then when I was 16 I had a huge desire to kiss my best friend. I actually got up enough guts to do it, and I loved it. I know that I never felt that way with any guy and never would. I knew that at that point, my life had changed. I never said I was bi, I knew right away that I was a lesbian.
