Born in Poços de Caldas (MG/Brazil), nowadays lives in Salvador/BA, where she wrote and had published two books: Letters from a grandmother (1997) and Letters to a Psicanalyst (1999).

Maria José is graduated as a teacher as she studied in Campinas/SP.

Next projects: Love gestures are inocent, but she doesn´t know when it will be published. It depends on various circunstances, but she feels within herself an expression of union humanly related to all, the author and the readers meeting each other in the “bridge of words”. She hopes to sell many books, with the beauty of her thoughts reflected on words.

Books written with soul are, many times, of an infinitive solitude. Only love can understand them and be fair to them (the books) and their value.
