Louden

From on Friday, 22 May, 2009

Hi Elizabeth,
I was able to spend a couple of hours with the Victorian BDM CD-ROMs, and was able to find all the baptisms for the Louden family, under various misspellings. I've attached a report with what I've found, fully sourced so you can check any details you'd like to. I've adopted the Louden spelling throughout, as that seemed to be the most common spelling used. Individual records used Louden, Loudon, Lowden, Lawden etc.
Sarah THORNBURY, daughter of Robert THORNBURY ( - ) and Anne ( - ), was born in 1813 (approx.) in ARM, Ireland. She married John LOUDEN in 1838 (approx.) in ARM. She died on 3 August 1892 in 75 Seacombe St, Fitzroy, VIC. She was buried on 5 August 1892 in Melbourne Cemetery, VIC.
John LOUDEN was born in 1815 (approx.) in ARM. He died in 1866 in VIC. He and Sarah THORNBURY had 8 children:
Let me know if you'd like anything clarified.
On 10 May 2009 I sent a copy of Sarah's death certificate.
Regards, Richard
