They came to Victoria on the Echo which left Greenock, Scotland 18 Dec 1854, tonnage 1188 with 134 Unassisted passengers and gives age of Elizabeth as 27, Robert as 22. Tnd lived at Melbourne, Maldon and then at Chiltern

The family settled Pine Lodge South, near Shepparton, in 1884
