A Dream?
For a moment in morning light,
 reflect upon the journyed night,
 Half asleep, and half awake,
 In the silent moment break,
The thoughts of what I learned.
In the world when traveled there,
Passage to where no one dare,
 Things uncertain give to chance,
Where things change upon a glance,
I know what I had yearned.
With night in passing close my eyes,
And given in by its suprise,
I see you there among the stars,
Your eyes are shining brightly there.
 I feel your spirit everywhere.
Then feel your touch upon my skin,
And feel my own fear deep within,
To open up like none before,
And feel the craving, I wanted more.
But then wake up and you're not there,
And I can't find you anywhere.
 A dream?

So here I lie and think awhile,
Beneath the sun with golden smile,
 Outside my window shining bright,
Within my heart though lacking light,
 I feel so empty here.
Across the miles across the space,
I wish to be some other place,
But 'neath the sun must start my day,
And so the dream does fade away.
The dream I held so dear,
The dream I now so fear.
Tonight wonder when I close my eyes,
 Will once again I realize,
My heart my soul give in to pain,
Because in this realm may not remain,
 A dream?
