Sarah began acting at the age of 4. Her acting career really took off when in 1993, she played the role of Kendall Hart on ABC's All My Children. She stayed with the show for over two years before making the move from New York to Los Angeles. She auditioned for the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1996 and got the job. The first season for Buffy wasn't the best, but regardless WB executives stuck with the show which has become a popular hit. Sarah has starred in films such as Cruel Intentions, Scream 2, and I Know What You Did Last Summer.
