monday night i watched some ditzy mtv thing and they showed clips from their
springbreak coverage '96 or so when it was raining heavily and Bush was
the only band that would perform.. the last song was just gavin
and his guitar, absolutely soaked, singing in the rain.. and i was floored - wet singing pretty
people with amazing hair tend to do that to me - and all i could think was
"i need to buy Bush cds."
the next day i met up with gene and as we walked to the car sometime i went
"OH, btw!" and was going to continue with "I need Bush cds!" when _he_ says
"Oh i'm buying all three Bush cds. i just have this sudden odd urge." ... call me floored
but delighted at our little coinsidence.
that night we went from cdstore to cd store and eventually found all
three reasonably priced releases at schoolkids records and yeah - gene bought them.
walking up to the counter and handing over three bush cds was.. odd.
cash registrar guy: "need some Bush, eh?" *snort, laugh*
i think there was just something in the air. anyhow. hrm. if i spend any more hours cruising
for gavin pictures my brain might implode - i feel so sexist and sixteen and all. still. he's
stupid-cute. bah. whatever. gone. end.
