Well, I'm at Heather's right now. Carla is standing to the left of me, fixing
her hair with bobby pins. I made some wacky braids for her, and stuck my bright, yellow
sun flower [that I pretend gives me a happiness shield when I wear it. I haven't worn it
in a while.] on top of it, but a few unruly pieces of hair not grown long enough insist on
getting loose, and therefore needs some pinching metal to keep it in. She's showing off her
happy socks to Matt. Old Barenaked Ladies songs are playing in the background, and we all
join in to sing a long with "..but not a real green dress, that's cruel."

We are all getting ready to leave in a few minutes - we're going to Jeni's [she and I make up the Jen*'s] to meet up with 5 or so other people and party. Party meaning mexican food, and people reading their poetry and other writings. Quite exciting. I'm not bringing any, of course, I don't write. heheh, as evident?

As I stepped off the elevator yesterday afternoon and got ready to wait in the rain for Carla and Larry, I almost tripped over a girl sitting on the floor. Carla. They'd been there for 15 minutes, raiding "my" vending machine. After bad traffic, we reached Heather's around 6, only to hear that Rosser hadn't made his plane from Orlando. After plenty of pizza and laughing and silliness, watching Tori on Sessions, we all left in three cars to pick him up at the airport. I've never really greeted anybody with a whole bunch of people before.

Back at Heather's. We watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the movie, and had plenty of fun. It was once again established that I love 90% of the actors I see appearing on a tv screen. We hit jack pot when we caught a few minutes of a cowboy show on CBS with Ron Perlman, Michael Biehn, and BRUCE CAMPBELL. *sigh*

We talked. A few people left around 2 am. Heather and Brian went to bed, and me, Midnight Tree Bandit and Carla and Larry attempted to fall asleep in the livingroom. It took an hour of silly elephant jokes and giggling before we fell over and slept.

And today we went to a mall. I bought blank tapes to tape Tori stuff onto tomorrow. Heather has a bootleg of the Raleigh show I was at in october. Exciting.

Off I go. But first I need a glitter boost. Big one.
