Yesterday morning I fell and scratched up my left knee as I was running for the bus. This morning
the same left ankle gave away again and had me fall walking to class. This time I scratched up my
right knee and more on the left. My shoulder is sore from having had to take the weight of my heavy book bag both
times, my hands are a bit sore and my feet feel funny. Most of all I'm wondering why my left ankle keeps just
folding - I'd say the shoes but I've worn them over a month now so that shouldn't be it. Ah well.
No short skirts for me for a while.
Ah that's right, I didn't mention it yet - I got an invitation in the mail last week to tomorrow's honors' convocation. I apparently made the (B) honor roll last spring and/or last fall. I'm guessing I only made it last spring because last fall wasn't all that successful. Anyways. I feel kind'a neat. I'm getting a little certificate and everything once I sit through the 2-3 hour long ceremony. Not wearing a skirt.
The fellow featured to the left is a Cane Toad. I was talking to a friend online in Australia, trying to scope out all the reasons I can't ever bring myself to visit Australia because of my multitude of minor phobias (not that he was trying to get me to visit) and he told me about the cane toads. Apparently somebody imported them to Queensland once upon a time to help fight some bugs or something, and with time they've become quite overwhelming. They're.. everywhere. Especially after the rain.
