happy new year, all! i stayed up until 6.40 am. just wanted to make sure humans didn't suddenly begin to spontaneously self combust in Kiribati as the last second ticked from before to after. they didn't. i'm going to take that a good sign. i don't know what kind of sign it was that the oldest person in the world, Mrs Sarah Knauss, 119, died last night, short of having seen 3 centuries. ah well. it _was_ quite a century. other things - visit the following: www.thehungersite.com www.heifer.org and be merry.
