well. as you know, i've been a rec.music.tori-amos addict since mid 1996. i just can't stop reading it. for the past 5 years, a toricon(vention) has been held at various voted for spots around america for rmta-er's to meet and freak at, and i've drooled and longed to attend every one, cussing my faraway location.
and then angela stepped in and became the organizer for this years toricon in durham, nc! yey, i could come, yey! except an abrupt change in my flights made it seem as if i almost wouldn't make it afterall, missing it only by a few days. i was plenty devastated, but thankfully it was changed back and i ended up getting to flump around a hotel my last 3 days in the states with a bunch of torifreaks after all. hooray! (well, actually most of the time was spent looking at my shoes and saying really, really moronic things like "hi. i'm jennie. i don't post much. i've been to arizona." but what the hell. it counts.)
of course, i suck suck suck at having cameras around for the good stuff. hence, below, witness the few pictures i DID manage to snap.. they are mostly great goofy pictures of garrett and a handful rmta headshots and some *hey look the clouds are underneath the plane!* pics from the flight(s) home, but i like them, and i found a scanner so.. here ya go. heh. enjoy.
