Those of us who were able and willing to get up the next morning (*ha ha*) got to take a trip down memory lane via a tour of Wellington, thanx to current Principal Rob Strachan, and our tour guide, Cassandra (Jason Smith's wife, who used to work there).
A lot of the school was still the same (including the blue lockers in the circle, and the good ol' green colour in the library!), but there were also some impressive changes that have taken place over the last 10 years, too...such as:
- a new addition to the gym, and hallway connection to the old cafeteria area
- a new workout gym where the old caf used to be (beside Mr. Walrond's classroom downstairs)
- a large new multi-purpose room (theatre/cafeteria combo)...very fancy!
- a full-service media room in the old drama room (where announcements are now videotaped and broadcast)
- a brand new, large computer lab
- a brand new wing (C-wing!)
- a "skywalk" from the upstairs of A-wing to the new C-wing
- a professional darkroom in the expanded (and moved) art room
- LOTS of additional parking area
- ...and much more!

This was a fun, casual get-together for grads and their families...the weather couldn't have been better, the food was great, and the kids had a blast playing at the park. Stay tuned for pix coming soon!
