When you write music does the music come first or the lyrics. How do the two influence each other?
Both at the same time
melody and words are meant to be together they don't jar
they are at one with one another and have to blend into the melody
words are not as important as the melody
When you write your songs do they reflect some event that occurred in your life?
No sometimes and sometimes not
A song is like a child
It will look like the parents it's one entity like songs
It depends on the situations you need to make sure it's mutual
You can tell when you finish it
It reveals it self to you
Some of the songs are pretty revealing- do you get embarrassed "barring your soul?"
No I am not sticking out my neck people feel too
They can feel and relate
Where do you most often write your song lyrics?
At home bedroom or some where private and silent
I am a musician, how hard has it been on you emotionally when you wonder if your songs will be heard, does it matter that much to you or do you do it for yourself?
You are representing a song it belongs to everyone
It is important to get that song to everyone never say it is YOUR song
You are a messenger
It is annoying when the songs are not on the radio but it's not personal
It is like setting a wild animal free and you have to let it go
How do you like America?
It is cool

an impossible task for its so massive

How do fans in America compare to fans in the UK?
people are the same where ever you go

Every band is a separate entity
Bands come and go
But I'm into the radio plan and record sales only show you a fraction of how many people have been exposed
The backstreet boys have a great writer who I respect
I think you will always have boy bands they are buying the band not the song
Kids fantasize about them
Millions of people buying a record in one week can't be wrong
we are just different but target the same audience in a way
